Just wanted to give you a quick look at The Makeup Show’s Blogger Preview + Party yesterday. James Vincent gave us a preview of his favorite products from some of the brands at the show this year (Make Up For Ever, MAC Pro, Kevyn Aucoin, Cinema Secrets, Crown Brush, Mehron, and Embryolisse were among them…read my interview with him for some of his other favorites).

Afterwards, we were led to the fifth floor for an exclusive blogger party where makeup artists from brands like Temptu, Armour, Stila, Dex New York, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, gave us another sneak preview of what their makeup can do (notably, Make Up For Ever transformed three models into puppets by covering their bare bodies completely with their makeup…a real puppeteer led them across the stage where MUFE founder Dany Sanz, joined later).

I went to the first day of the show today and while there were TONS of great brands, there are certain products that really stood out to me. More on that in another post this week!! The last day of The Makeup Show happens tomorrow from 10am-6pm!

Alright beauty insiders, if you haven’t already heard the buzz about TEMPTU — the at home airbrush makeup system — then you may have been living under a rock. The line was formerly a strictly professional line which launched in 1981 and is now available to consumers for the very first time.
