GIVEAWAY: Jersey Shore Sammi Sweetheart’s new Dangerous perfume and tank top
With the whole clogged toilet fiasco this season, I’m not the first to say that Jersey Shore technically conjures up an association with good smells. But looks like Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has set to change that image by coming out her very first perfume, Dangerous. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was sent the perfume to review from Mandee (the first and only brick-and-mortar retailer to carry “Dangerous”) and found out it has a lot of interesting sweet-floral notes: Mandarin, Almond, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Vanilla and Brown Sugar. It ends up having a sort of fresh sandalwood scent to it.

Since my aunt proclaimed I need a “flowery scent,” I bee-lined for Flora by Gucci at the store the other day. It’s actually the first Gucci perfume I’ve ever been really into. Most of them just seem too strong for me.
Smells like you’re taking a stroll in a field of flowers, with mid notes of rose and Osmanthus flowers, top notes of peony, and base notes of patchouli and sandalwood. The combination is sweet and summer ready.

I run into people who are super protective of their scents all too often. On one hand I get it, since it starts to become a part of something people automatically associate you with. But on the other, the same perfume doesn’t always smell the same on different people.
I can literally recall a few times where I’ve randomly asked a woman in a store what perfume she was wearing cuz it just smelled so good, and they respond with, “Ohh! I totally forgot the name.” Righttt…
