Leslie Blodgett, CEO of the makeup brand that started the whole mineral makeup frenzy, Bare Escenutals, has officially launched her limited-edition perfume line, Perfume Diaries. The first perfume of the series, Bare Skin, is already out exclusively at Sephora. The perfume has top notes of freesia, midnotes of vanilla, and touch of sandalwood.

The idea behind the line is trying to evoke the scents and feelings Blodgett experienced at a series of countries she visited and wrote about in her journals. Bare Skin represents her trip to Mexico.

“Bare Skin, which is what Mexico reminds me of, is the way you feel when the sun is beating down on you during the day, but then you go out at night and you’re still sizzling from the warmth of the day which mingles with the night air and the music,” she says.
